The theme for the day’s meeting was “April Showers”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. No lie, today our theme was all about April Showers. Lorri was our Toastmaster of the day providing information on rains and their benefits. Our speaker Evan gave his “ice breaker” speech, which instead of the usual autobiography he gave an inspirational message on looking forward in our lives more than looking back. The grammarian, Summer, offered the Word of the Day as “fickle”. Our new online meeting platform called Zoho is free, but must end at the stroke of 60 minutes and does not permit polls.
