The theme for the day’s meeting was “Celebration in July”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Yan was Toastmaster today with a modified set of roles on the agenda. She was grateful for participation in the meeting with some members absent. Evan’s Word Of The Day (WOD) was “Explosion” in keeping with the theme. He also provided support in the Um/Ah Counter role.  Kristin gave her speech informing us what it was like to visit the Beaverton Farmer’s Market. Pradip ran the table topics portion. His novel story regarding independence was that his country had never been overtaken and had never had to have an Independence Day. At the end of the meeting Kristin gave a behind-the-curtain glimpse into her setup at home showing computer arrangement with notes that allow her to stand during her remote speech.
