The theme for the day’s meeting was “Back to School”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Yan was Toastmaster today. Her delightful commentary brought us to the joys and fears of going back to school. Today’s prepared speech was given by Kristin who taught us about canning peaches. Jose was the General Evaluator and also the Table Topics master. The Word of the Day was “Homework” which has the challenge to slip the word into any speaking we do during the meeting. Today’s meeting took place in the Beaverton Library Auditorium, which gives us practice in working a large lecture hall.
