The theme for the day’s meeting was “American Folklore”
We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Today’s Toastmaster was Lorri, who reminded us of much loved stories from our upbringing such as the Princess and the Pea, Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed. The Table Topics Master, Kristin, asked us questions about our favorite lore. The word of the day was Fable. We reviewed the 2013 Toastmaster International winning speech by Presiyan Vasilev. Next week our meeting will be hybrid at the Library and on Zoho. Our speaker will be Jose.
