The theme for the day’s meeting was “Holiday Gatherings”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Today’s Toastmaster Kristin, reminded us of the role we play in holiday gatherings. We gather for food, for people and to extricate ourselves from electronic gadgets. Lorri working the role of Grammarian provided the WOD (Word of the Day), which was “Grateful”. Tom gave a hot seat speech about the one Christmas he had remotely during Covid at a hotel since he was quarantining himself. As the General Evaluator, Summer brought some comments regarding the day’s the meeting. Jose provided the evaluation on Tom’s hot seat speech.  Our next meeting will be at the Beaverton Library, and via Zoho.
