The theme for the day’s meeting was “Holiday Spirit”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Today’s Toastmaster Jose, challenged us to think of how we can display our holiday spirit. Dan was the timer. Lorri evaluated Tom’s speech about his Gotcha Day, when there was a new child in the house. The Word of the Day was Festive, which we tried to use in our extemporaneous speaking throughout the meeting. As the General Evaluator, Pradip discussed the offerings of the evaluator and the speaker, and how the meeting went today. Evan won the Table Topics with his challenge to make Valentines Day more of a real celebration, instead of the usual chocolate, flowers and booking a table at a crowded restaurant. We’ll skip next week’s meeting. December 30th we will be back on line for our last meeting of the year via Zoho.
