The theme for the day’s meeting was “March Madness (non-sports)”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. We met in the Library as well as on line today. Evan was our Toastmaster. He and St. Patrick were back from their sickness last week and rolling with the punches. The Toastmaster’s theme “March Madness (non-sports) is an anti-basketball, non-sports theme, whereby we choose and focus on our favorite things: From food, to travel destinations, to movies, to music. Instead of a sports bracket, it’s a ‘life bracket’ and some of our favorites will be crowned “CHAMPION!” Our Positivity Master was Kristin with beer and flowers. Dan was listed as the Grammarian role holder. He chose as Word of the Day “Bonkers” to go with the Madness. Our prepared speaker was Summer who informed us of her current book interest by Hasard Lee, Art of Thinking Clearly. Patrick won the table topics portion of the meeting with his bonkers story of the wildest Jet Lag he ever had.  TimberTalker’s next meeting will be on Zoho as listed on our Meeting’s page.
