The theme for the day’s meeting was “Summer Equinox”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Lorri was Toastmaster today, enjoying her favorite season of the year. The prepared speech by Patrick was about letting go of an old job when it does not align with your values any more. The real question isn’t, “When is it time to leave?”
The better question is, “What are you waiting for?” Summer’s grammarian role gave us the WOD, “Shining”. Kristin was the Table topics master. Evan was the evaluator for Patrick’s speech. Tom was the general evaluator. He was assigned the role, two weeks in a row. Summer had multiple roles, including the Positivity message of a “fresh canvas” and covered the technical duties of getting the online members connected with the room at the library. We had more people on line than at the library. It’s been a while since that happened. Evan won the table topics. His speech was about enjoying his son on Father’s Day.
