The theme for the day’s meeting was “Summer Rituals”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Tom was Toastmaster today. He spoke of how rituals of the family change over time. Evan gave his prepared speech called, “Shout“, about the practice of telling someone a compliment, not letting the moment pass by. He gave us a live demonstration by providing us all with a personal, unique compliment for all attending. Summer’s positivity message was on the lenses we use to view the world. Using a wider lens can help us to bring others into our view. Summer’s grammarian role gave us the WOD, “Leisure“.  Kristin was table topics master using colors as subject prompts. Dan was Evaluator.
