The theme for the day’s meeting was “Mid-Summer Reset”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. President Dan was Toastmaster, and Timer today. We were reminded that after the seasons and holiday hoopla we can be in need of a reset. Tom’s positivity message was a part 2 of Evan’s from last week, on the importance of saying it now, connecting with friends now. Tom’s grammarian role gave us the WOD, “Peaches“, which Kristin inserted into her prepared speech. Her prepared speech was about averting disaster while camping in the rain. Jose was our Tech master and Table Topics master providing prompts fitting with today’s theme. We had a guest, Division Director Omar, who won the table topics with his answer about flowers. Summer was Kristin’s Evaluator, who used the sandwich method to provide positive feedback and an idea for improvement. Lorri was GE.
