The theme for the day’s meeting was “Take the Plunge”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. We met on line. Our Toastmaster and Timer today was Jose. In this hot weather it can be a wonderful excursion to jump into a cool natural pond. There are some within the regional area. Jose took feedback from a prior dignitary and introduced the program letting us know what would happen when. Kristin as Grammarian, gave us “Submerge” as the WOD. Lorri gave the prepared speech which broke the ice of her refreshing dip into the pond of starting one’s Toastmaster learning journey. Evan was Table Topics master providing prompts fitting with today’s theme. Tom was Lorri’s Evaluator, both experienced speakers. When experienced speaker dive in, it can be hard to provide feedback. Yet it is necessary to give at least one item to lift the speech to the next level. Dan was our General Evaluator. Our next meeting is on line with Zoho.
