The theme for the day’s meeting was “Harvest!”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Today’s meeting was at the library auditorium. This live meeting gets our adrenaline pumping. Tom was our Toastmaster today. He encouraged everybody to embrace what Fall means–a harvest that feeds everybody. President Dan, took the time to relay some thoughts about a harvest as an intro to Tom. Jose’s prepared speech was about going to a spooky corn maze with the family. There comes a time when your fear goes away in order to take care of someone. And sometimes it’s more than just family that watches you. Dan was our Table Topics Master. San, our upcoming member was timer. The Word of the day from Pradip was “Ripe” a very appropriate word for today’s theme.
