The theme for the day’s meeting was “What’s Your Why?”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Today’s meeting was at the library auditorium. This live meeting gives us a chance to practice in-person skills rather than just on line. President Dan, took the time to relay some thoughts about Life goals. Our Toastmaster today was Evan. His idea was to go “deep” in this meeting to talk about meaning in life, in work, in decisions. Lorri’s prepared speech was about completing our Club Success Plan to keep focusing on our goal of a Distinguished Club ranking. Kristin was Table Topics Master. San, our new member was Um counter. The Word of the day from Tom was “Inspire”. Tom’s inspirational thought was that our WHYs change over time, either by season or age. Pradip won the Table Topics favorite award with his idea that it is better to burn out than rust out.
