The theme for the day’s meeting was “Seasons in Transition”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Summer had her inaugural role as Toastmaster today. Her poetic review of the seasons included Winter as a time of rest, Spring as a time of beginning again, Summer being a time to savor, and Autumn a season for harvest and release. Today’s prepared speech was given by Evan who inspired us in his quest for a new hobby that does not hurt, cost a fortune, and one that his wife would like. Pradip was the General Evaluator. Kristin the Table Topics master. The Word of the Day was “Progress” includes the challenge to slip the word into any speaking we do during the meeting. Pradip won the table topics poll with his relishing the apple smells of the next season.
