The theme for the day’s meeting was “What We Do in January”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Tom was our Toastmaster today, reminding us that we look back as well as look forward in January. Summer was our prepared speaker who told us about her personal journey to stay authentic in times of trouble. The Grammarian of the day was Patrick who gave us Reinvigorate to challenge us in our word usage in keeping with the theme. Kristin was the Table topics master and Pradip was voted as favorite table topic. Evan’s evaluation provided the insight that we don’t need to offer a gift only to downplay it with “But you can return it if you don’t like it.” Next week’s meeting will be at the Beaverton Library and on line.
