The theme for the day’s meeting was “January Holidays”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly.  Linda was Toastmaster of the day.  Lorri was the speaker today who also won Table Topics. To follow the theme of the Toastmaster, the Word Of the Day (WOD) was “Rocket.” Using the WOD inspired by the Grammarian is a good exercise to see if you can pop it into your speaking. Extra points if you can add it to your prepared speech.

Our next meeting will be at the Beaverton Library and on Zoom, Jan 21, 2025

Contest Season is coming up. We will have a Toastmasters International Area contest January 25, 2025 at the Tualatin Public Library, on Martinazzi Ave, 2:30pm to about 6pm. Please come cheer those how have their game hat on.
