The theme for the day’s meeting was “Friends”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Yan was our Toastmaster who talked about friendships throughout the meeting. Kristin’s grammarian role gave us the WOD, “tergiversation“, the opposite of friendliness. Dan’s speech was about how we can be a leader to someone just by encouraging them. He recounted a time of promoting a fundraiser which encouraged two new college attendees. Tom was the evaluator and Lorri the general evaluator.  We followed the meeting with a Club Business Meeting where a quorum voted in the next slate of club officers for the term July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
