The theme for the day’s meeting was “School’s Out for Summer”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Evan was Toastmaster today, which was his first time doing the Toastmaster role, complete with Alice Cooper sampling. Pradip supplied “Euphoria” as our Word Of The Day (WOD) as we enjoy our school’s out theme. Yan in her speech told about how Toastmasters prepared her for her 15 minute talk on LLM in front of a 300 person live-and-remote audience. Kristin ran the table topics portion. Toastmasters gives us a way to practice our speaking and technical skills by using these roles as jumping off points. Some Toastmasters have been voluntold for Board roles and are up for the challenge.
