The theme for the day’s meeting was “Spring Break”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Yan was our Toastmaster. Her theme on Spring Break gave us ideas on our excursions. Our Positivity Master was Evan. Patrick handled the Grammarian role with a WOD, Word of the Day of “Spontaneous”. Our prepared speaker was Kristin who spoke about her recent Cruise and following her mom’s footsteps. Evan won the table topics portion of the meeting with his spontaneous outbreak into a cowboy song made up on the spot. Evan represented our club at the District 7 contest in Wilsonville, placing third for his first time competing in a Toastmaster’s contest. Kristin received a “round robin” evaluation from the members. TimberTalker’s next meeting will be hybrid on Zoho as listed on our Meeting’s page and at the Beaverton Library.
