The theme for the day’s meeting was “Dear Mom”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Pradip was Toastmaster, following on the Mother’s Day theme with heartfelt wishes for his and our “dearest moms”.  Yan’s Positivity Master talk was the reading of Someday with the thought that we think about today yet dream of one day finding ourselves at a different stage in life. Our WOD, by Grammarian Tom, was “You Always”. Most people, missed using that phrase, but at Evan used it twice. Evan was our prepared “unprepared” speaker today. He wanted to challenge himself with several impromptu topics which he gleaned from the audience. Not only did he have to be quick on his feet, but use gestures, body language and vocabulary to get his points across. Patrick was General Evaluator who gave us some reminders to make our meetings better. Pradip, who will be moving out of state, was our table topics winner. We wish him all the best.
