The theme for the day’s meeting was “Things Change”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Dan stepped in to be Toastmaster, when there was a change. Kristin and Lorri changed roles to allow Lorri more time to talk about Pathways. Kristin’s Positivity Master talk advocated for talking to strangers based on F.X Schreiner’s chance meeting with the President of the American Iris Society back in 1920. It started Schreiner’s new hobby and ultimately changed his business. Our WOD, by Grammarian Patrick, was “Transition” much in keeping with the theme for today. Lorri spoke on our club status and Pathways navigation to make it easier to find things. Tom was General Evaluator who evaluated Summer’s evaluation and the club meeting at large. There was a tie for Table Topics winner between Lorri who championed Pepsi over Coke and Kristin who spoke of family that ran with Pancho Villa.
