The theme for the day’s meeting was “Responsible Freedom”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Patrick was our Toastmaster who brought the patriotic theme after our weekend’s Memorial observances. Kristin’s speech was about a visit to Schreiner’s Iris garden which was an extension of her Positivity message from last week. Jose gave us our  WOD, which was “prudent” and used by almost everyone. Tom was our Um/Ah counter, tallying our verbal pauses. He left it up to us to contact him if we wanted particulars. Jose was doing double duty as General Evaluator. He appreciated Patrick’s new land speed record of getting the agenda out last week. Patrick was our Table Topics winner with his discussion of Freedom and Responsibility in drumming.
