The theme for the day’s meeting was “Scary Movies”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Today’s meeting was at the library as well as online. President Dan provided some humor about horror as he introduced today’s Toastmaster, Jose. Jose told us of the scariest movies ever. The speaker today was Pradip who told us of his learning experience through his child doing charitable work, “Lemon or Water?”. The WOD was rebarbative from our Grammarian, Kristin. San did double duty as our timer and um/ah counter. Yan was the General Evaluator, Tom gave the speech evaluation, noting how inspirational it was with many high points. Summer’s Positivity message noted that the characters in the scary movie survive to the end because they keep moving. And a reminder we never have to go to that scary place alone.

Our next meeting will be online (Zoho) as well as in person at the Beaverton Library. Info is listed on our page Meeting Information. See you there.
