The theme for the day’s meeting was “PUMPKIN PATCH”

We are a Beaverton Toastmasters Club that meets weekly. Today’s meeting was online only. President Dan gave us some analogies about the pumpkin and pumpkin patches. Our Toastmaster today was Yan. Her child, featured predominantly, is learning many things, even how heavy a pumpkin is. Summer referred us to a polished speech of the 2014 winner of the Toastmaster International Speech Contest, Dananjaya Hettiarachchi from Sri Lanka. The WOD was Scones. Lorri was our timer. Kristin was the evaluator who led us in round robin evaluations, so all members of the meeting who heard the recorded speech could contribute observations.

Our next meeting will be online (Zoho) as well as in person at the Beaverton Library. Info is listed on our page Meeting Information. See you there.
